New SHS M140 Spring Review:
This review is a part and continuation of the review on the other New SHS products posted earlier.
To test the life of the new SHS M140 spring, a single spring was repeatedly fired and inspected for deformation and wear of the spring.

1. Decided to use the Super Shooter Full Metal Piston Teeth to test this new product
2. New SHS High Speed Gear 13:1)
3. Tupa 1600 12C 11.1V lipoly
4. SHS 7.0mm Oil less Bushing

After >4000 bbs fired (>14,000bbs for the Spring)

Result:
Spring still straight but shortened by 1.5mm (Total of 5.5mm from Original length)

Used same set-up (same SHS M140 Spring from start of of test) on May 20 but used again the New SHS Full Metal Piston Teeth used at the beginning of the review.
Initial Readings
Length of SHS M140 spring= 159.0 mm
FPS = 440
ROF = 2021
After >4000 bbs fired (>18,000bbs for the Spring, >14,000 for the SHS Piston Body)
Length = 158.0mm
FPS = 445.7
ROF = 1905
Result:
Spring still straight but shortened by 1.0mm (Total of 7.0mm from Original length)
New SHS Full Metal Teeth Piston Body - No sign of wear and tear
SHS Bushing – No sign of loosening
Application of Silicon oil to Piston Head O-ring and cleaning of barrel is the only additional process made on May 21 set-up.
Normally, the FPS would go down after firing those >18,000 bbs but for reasons that I don’t know too, except for the added process I mentioned above, I don’t have any explanation.
I know its hard to believe the results that I got ( and that is why I was having second thoughts on posting this) but that is really what I got. The New SHS M140 Springs are already available in Baguio (SRP of Php300) and if any of you would have the chance to test and use this, please post your comments too to confirm or contradict my data.
Many thanks again for reading!
