Newbie learnings... =)

ello sirs & ma'ams!

For everyone and mga newbies po jan like me, post po tayo ng mga natutunan natin na tactics and techniques nung mga unang games natin, mga bloopers that led to learnings din hehe maybe we could help eachother see better in the dark? hehehe.. Lalo na para dun sa mga tulad ko na nangangapa pa talaga, or maybe for our fellows who are interested to try out airsoft din, at least mapangunahan man lang ng konti what to expect and how to play diba hehe

share din your expariences and opinios comrades!

two half-days palang po ako naglalaro and with the guidance of very obliging and more experienced members (salamat po sirs at ma'ams! ), i leaned a lot na rin for starters

> Patience is truly a virtue - if you plan to hit opfors, better to wait for the right time and distance before you shoot. Otherwise, you give away your location, sayang pa BBs, hit ka pa agad hehehe (at nagsalita ang di pa nakahit! )

> look before you leap! - baka may mga landmindes na iniwan ang mga tao at hayop sa tabi ng puno or talahib na tinataguan at ginagapangan niyo

> gear up appropriately -this is for your own protection, and use gear that is comfortable to help imporve your agility

> speaking of agility, be still and be conscious of things and plants around you that can give away your location hehe Mejo nahirapan ako actually magtago pag puro marapait lang katabi kasi konting kirot mo lang umuuga na yung talahib hehe.. so sabi ni sir dods, clear thr branches and twigs para di magulo, for better vision pa ng target. I was also advised to mask my movement with things that can distract your opponent from your attempt to advance or change position hehe

> better to crawl than to get up and run?? hehe opinyon ko lang naman po hehe still depends on the scenario

> it can help to be a lone wolf at first, you can observe others, assess the situation on your own first and focus on what you want and have to do.. kung nahuli ka kaagad, you know na to think twice next time you get into the same plight or situation

> pag open fire towards you at na hit ka na, shout ng malakas "HIIIT! DEAD MAN COMING OUT!" pero wag ka muna babangon till humupa ang ulan ng bala hahaha masakit din pag inuulan ka ng BBs, namaga cheek ko dahil nagattempt ako tumayo hahaha

> Pinaka important (next to safety).. Play for fun! wag seryoso masyado! basta be Honest and ENJOY! ENJOY! ENJOY!

mam ang natutunan ko din lalo na nung first day ng game ko...

dont follow if u saw a zombies..... magigigng zombie ka na din....

sumama/ makisabay sa mga veterans... watch and learn.....

wag maging trigger happy... relax and enjoy the game....

kahit natamaan smile parin...... thats part of the game...


la lang po pa epal lang....hehehe

join and learn from the ones who know the game...

do your research... do your own thing...

play the game...

enjoy the game...

Suggestion ko lang, instead of declaring na gun down ka na, sacrifice yourself by being the decoy. Sayang ang buhay...takbo para malaman kung nasaan ang mga nakabaon, just my two cents.

or try to make knife kills. Mas masaya ka kapag naka-knife kill ka pa kahit gun down ka na. Gapangin mo kalaban, ikotan mo or maghantay ka na lumapit sa iyo. Tapos kapag naka-knife kill ka na, ipakita mo sa na-kill mo ang iyong gun down para lalong masaya ha ha ha

Do your own tactics w cooperation w your group

Honest game (bawal ang Zombie)

Be patient|(walang pikunan laru lang)

Be carefull (wag maxado gapang ng gapang baka may land mine)

BE sourcefull ( gumawa ng sariling diskarte sa pagtatago)

Minsan hindi madali maglaro, requires skill eh, pero just do your best, you'll learn in the long run.. and ciempre enjoy lang =)

alam niyo pa kung ano ang natutunan ko sa airsoft?

it doesn't end after each game... kasi after a day of playing airsoft, people still get together in their own way.

pag nkatalikod ang kalaban at medyo malau para sa knife kill... wag mo isingle.. kung isingle fire mo xa bka mag fire back sau ng bbbbbbrrrrrruuuuussssstttttt....

and para d magkafriendlyhan, identify your teamates uniform..before pulling the trigger..

Hit na kahit BBs ricochet from all horizontal directions.. pero pag ricochette or lost BBs from above, tipong vertical perspective, di pa pala hehe..

with regards to richochet i dont have any idea why this was implemented..
richochet considered hit /gun hit considred hit..so i conclude that this was implemented is to add enjoyment for the players and somehow eliminate zombiesm

-similar with the "paihi shooting"..look at sir kc avatar thats "paihi",volley shot...is also considered hit....as long as the bb hits you..you are considered hit-in reality this is actually what is happenin in artillery support,o di ba?

but this rules applies more on tournaments or cqb

in reality bullet richochet can kill you/ or let you combat ineffective if your hit or if your gun is hit by a bullet your gun can jam..

thanks sir abis for the enlightenment.. safe to say: kung natamaan ka na, regardless of how, HIT nalang, smile nalang dahil may next game pa naman! bawal zombie!!! hehehe

For every newbies info.. ang airsoft, lalo d2 sa BAG, parang pringles.. once you pop, you cant stop! hahahaha good luck!

There will always be "zombies", intentional or otherwise, it is part of the game. Especially for games where there is an amalgamation of players from other teams and places. It happens whether we are the ones hosting the game or not. It may just be because of some rules that they are not accustomed of in their own teams or it may be for some other reasons. To newbies, do not just observe and follow, be very discerning of how you treat this, never ever emulate such behavior but also, be a bit understanding of this. Once verified, approach officers and marshalls in the game in a discreet manner and let them deal with this... never mouth it off... remember, airsoft is also a game of discipline aside from it being a game of honesty, fun, and camaraderie. ayuyah!

I agree with Sir KC on this.. except for the hi-lighted yellow.
Bat sa kin nawala Supressor ko nung umikot ako? hehe!


Another Lesson learned: ALWAYS SECURE YOUR VALUABLES COZ YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHEN WILL YOU SEE THEM AGAIN ONCE LOST!

Note:

1. Never use old bb's- yung nagamit na tapos ipapasok niyo ulit sa magazine, may tendency na uneven ang surface ng bb's and it might cause more problems, or it might have a crack and before it leaves the barrel durog na ito. Wawa da gun.
2. Pag nag upgrade ka na ng gun bumili ka na ng lipoly with charger para di wawa da gun.
3. Don't upgrade the gun by yourself, mas lalaki gastos mo pag di mo na maibalik, sige ka, wawa da gun.
4. Hindi tungkod ang baril remember, wawa da gun.
5. Always put the gun in safety mode when you are in the neutral zone, kung hindi, wawa da pipol.
6. take care of your gun, clean it, don't overuse it, don't over ratrat and be vigilant para di wawa da budget.
