| Pahabol Po Sir Navy. Kung May Butas Yung Cylinder Mo Kunti Lang Yung Hangin Na Nakukuha Ng Cylinder Parang Short Range Lang Ang Napupuntahan Ng BB's At Kung Walang Butas naman Yung Cylinder Malayo Layo Na Ang Range Ng BB's Na Napupuntahan. Merong Magandang Cylinder Eh Yung Aluminum Ata Yun. Mas Maganda Ang Performance Nya. Ask Mo Na Lang Si Sir Dods Kung Anong Magandang Cylinder Head Yun | |

| 1. Barrel. Some people change to barrels longer or tighter then their stock ones. The tighter the barrel the better. Dont get one too tight if you use bad quality BBs or it will jam. Most AEGs come stock with 6.08mm diameter barrels. Systema make 6.04mm, Star make 6.05mm, Guarder make 6.04mm, prometheus make 6.03mm, Deepfire makes 6.04mm, Madbull makes 6.03mm (but are bad quality), Dees Custom make 6.01mm, and PDI the best make 6.01mm from steel.
2. Cylinder. The cylinder is the area in which the air is compressed before being forced down the barrel. Bigger cylinders let you use a longer barrel. You can also get telfon-coated cylinders which will give a slight increase of Rate Of Fire (ROF), to my knowledge about 100 rounds per minute. This part isn't upgraded much as most guns come with good ones. For a budget gun one get a teflon coated Area 1000 cylinder.
3. Cylinder Head. Changing this part is either to silence your gun (if you get a Systema or Angel damped head)or to get a better air seal.
hope this helps.... | |

| SHARE KO LANG INPUT NI SIR WOLFIE FROM BAC :
you need to replace your cyliner to type "0" or closed cylinder. meaning walang butas sa side yung cylinder. aug barrel is about 510mm or same length with a m16 barrel. mahaba yung barrel na yan kaya it needs that much air inside the cylinder to push the bb out of the barrel.
i think yung stock cylinder ng m4 sopmod is type "2" cylinder, meaning my butas sa side ng cylinder near the middle, dahil short lang yung barrel ng stock ng sopmod. it does not need that much air dahil nga maikli lang yung barrel, lalabas agad yung bb. unlike long barrel kelangan nya ng maraming air para sa long travel ng bb sa barrel.
its up to you if you want to replace your cylinder head, dahil yung stock na plastic, pagtumagal magkakaroon ng air leak. aluminum cylinder head for better performance and durability.

| Agree with Wolfie except on Cylinder Head. I don't recommend Aluminum Cylinder head coz this is the main culprit for many of the broken Gear Box. The plastic Cylinder Head will last a long time. You just need to replace the O-ring if there is a leak. | |

| MORE INPUT FROM MAMBOBOSO UAAPH
Barrel
A standard airsoft barrel often has an internal diameter of 6.12 mm. If this barrel is exchanged for a precision barrel with a 6.04 mm internal diameter the amount of air that slips by the pellet reduces and the benefits is that the pellet has less spread and about 5% extra velocity. The downside is that the barrel clogs up more often and has to be cleaned. A longer barrel increase range, but the barrel can't be too long since if the amount of air in the barrel is more than the amount of air the piston push forward, a vacuum will develop in the barrel and the pellet will be sucked back with a big speed reduction. There is a method called "cratercutting" that has the effect that just before the pellet leaves the barrel the air slips by and cuts a hole in the wall of air that is formed in front of the barrel. This technique is normally used by players aiming to increase the range of the weapon.

| Bro! I just read reviews and upgrades of AUG sa FAS (Kasi may AUG din ako): Ito lang mga kailangan mo: 1. Tight barrel (6.03mm diameter x 550mm length) kasya pa daw yan hanggang sa stock na flash hider. 2. SP120 or PDI170 or mas friendlier (SP 110) 3. shims 4. spring guide 5. type O cylinder (plastic) 6. seal all leaks 7. At dapat daw ay familiar ang AUGSMITH mo sa tipo ng baril. pwede nang pang snipe yan.... expected @420fps | |
