PostSubject: Rewinding your motor... Is it possible?   Mon Jul 28, 2008 10:28 am

First topic message reminder :

I was looking at some posts at FAS then this one caught my attention. Is it possible to re-wind your motor to either high-torque or high-speed? Looks like the Tamiya days are back, hehehe!

But seriously, if this is possible? Do we have someone here in Baguio who can do this??

Kasi motors that put out high torque need fewer windings on the coil, but heavier magnets. Increase in gauge wire increase on torque sa same magnet.

JG & DB winding specs.

wire gauge = 22
number of turns = 28

TM EG1000 winding specs.

wire gauge = 20
